Gone are the uneven patches and unruly slopes, which, after a backyard landscape design by David Holloway and the tear out and installation by Alex Markowski and crew, this landscape is ready for a game of epic proportions.

This is no ordinary lawn; it’s a dream come true for the Hastings boys, a soccer field carved from the earth properly graded to specifications. Twenty yards of soil were meticulously sculpted, coaxing the ground to level itself for those perfect passes and penalty kicks. Over one hundred feet of Bermuda grass were installed for its beauty and resilience, its blades ready to withstand countless cleated sprints.

But this isn’t just a soccer haven; it’s a family oasis. A crepe myrtle, gracefully sways in the wind by the house, offering dappled shade for lazy lunches under the open sky. Repurposed liriope and blue daze paint vibrant pops of color, while the stately distillum, a low-maintenance evergreen, forms a sturdy foundation for the garden’s tapestry.
